Dr. Drew Casey is a native of Columbus, Ohio. He attended the University of Akron, majoring in biology, before returning home to Ohio State University College of Optometry.
Dr. Casey spent three months in Rio Rancho, New Mexico as an intern before completing his education at the Salt Lake City VA system / Moran Eye Center, focusing on ocular disease and specialty contacts. While escaping the midwest's weather was a driving factor, Dr. Casey felt a calling to settle in New Mexico — 32 of 33 counties, including Bernalillo, are underserved by optometrists who specialize in medical diagnosis and treatment.
