Advanced imaging and measurement technology that elevates the quality of every exam and every pair of glasses.

Zeiss i.Profiler™

Zeiss i.Profiler™ provides detailed information about the imaging properties of your eye, in particular higher-order aberrations. Higher-order aberrations are more subtle and complex refractive errors that often go undetected in a standard refractive examination and are not corrected with regular eyeglasses or most contact lenses. These aberrations can cause difficulty seeing at night, glare, halos, blurring, starburst patterns or double vision.

Combining the information from your doctor’s conventional prescription with the information from the Zeiss i.Profiler™, a special computer-controlled measuring system produces an i.Scription™ that the lab uses to produce an optimized spectacle lens for patients. i.Scription™ is an optimization algorithm that takes higher-order aberrations of the eye into account.

With the aid of i.Scription™, Zeiss Vision labs calculate optimized eyeglass values to combine with their high-quality manufacturing processes. Our lenses are particularly useful to enhance visual performance in dusk and nighttime conditions.

Ultra-Widefield Technology — Optos

Only Optos ultra-widefield technology can capture a 200° view (82%) of the retina in a single, high-resolution optomap® image in less than half a second. Casey Optical Too offers Daytona — the device that started the next generation of ultra-widefield retinal imaging technology for Optos. The Daytona is smaller yet still provides ultra-high resolution imaging and adds ultra-widefield autofluorescence capabilities.

Early signs of many ocular pathologies and diseases may first present in the retinal periphery and can go undetected using conventional techniques and equipment. More than 400 published and ongoing clinical trials, as well as thousands of case studies and testimonials, show the long-term value of optomap® imaging in diagnosis and treatment planning.

With traditional, small-field, and even widefield retinal imaging, only 10–100° of the retina can be captured in a single image. Optomap® is the only true, clinically validated, ultra-widefield retinal image that can capture 82% / 200° of the retina in a single capture — an increase of 50% over the next closest imaging device.
