Eyeglass Repair, Replacement & Adjustment.

Casey Optical Too provides eyeglass repair, replacement, and adjustment services to our patients. We offer a variety of techniques aimed at repairing damaged or ill-fitting eyewear.

Frames

Frames are the most likely component to experience damage — whether from bending, snapping, or losing screws. Our repair services include:

• Repairing or replacing loose or broken hinges
• Replacing nose pads
• Replacing or adjusting damaged or misaligned temples

Utilizing glue to make any repairs invalidates warranties, so we don’t do it — and we strongly recommend that you not use glue either.

Lenses

While lenses are less likely to break than frames, they are not immune to damage. Lenses can become scratched, cracked, or misaligned, which can impact vision and overall performance. Regular cleaning and polishing can restore a lens’s clarity, removing dirt, smudges, etc. When lenses are too damaged, we will facilitate their replacement.

Adjustment

Even if your eyeglasses are in perfect condition, they may not fit you properly. Eyeglass adjustment services ensure that your eyewear sits comfortably on your face, providing the best fit and effectiveness:

• Centering the lenses in front of the eyes for optimal vision correction
• Adjusting the arms so the glasses fit snugly and don’t slide down your nose or pinch behind your ears
• Altering the nose bridge to ensure the glasses sit comfortably without pinching
